About the IMMS
The IMMS is an annual scientific meeting whose purpose is to create an environment conducive to debates between undergraduate students, graduate students, professors and researchers from universities and research institutes of both Peru and abroad who develop research in Mathematical Sciences.
The first edition of The IMMS occurred in 2018 and since then it has been held every year with the exception of 2020 when the event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The initiative came from three professors: Norbil Córdova, Patricia Hilario and Oscar Santamaria, who after successive meetings concluded to initiate the first International Meeting in Mathematical Sciences at the UNPRG with the collaboration of graduates of this institution.
